I am writing to inform you about some important changes in our practice.
Our hygiene therapist, Sophie McInnes, will be leaving our clinic in August. Sophie has been an integral part of our team, providing exceptional care and building strong relationships with our patients. While we are sad to see her go, the team and I wish her all the best in her future endeavours.

In addition, our dentist, Dr Lawrence Sharkey, will be leaving our practice in September. Dr Lawrence has been a key member of our clinic, and we wish him the very best in his new endeavours.
We understand that changes in your dental care team can bring about concerns and uncertainty. We want to assure you that your dental health and comfort remain our top priority. In the interim, we have arranged for highly skilled and experienced temporary professionals to cover all appointments:
- Locum dental therapists: Moon Kazi and others will be with us until we find a permanent replacement who meets our high standards of care.
- A locum dentist: Dr Chris Fowles, who you may know from our sister practice Inverleith Dentalcare, will cover appointments during the transition period between Dr Lawrence's departure and the arrival of our new dentist.
- Our new dentist: Dr Ching Feng Sia, will be joining us in October. Ching is a highly motivated dentist with a special interest in Restorative Dentistry with experience from Dundee Dental Hospital and other private practices. He is dedicated to lifelong learning, expanding his expertise and leveraging his skills to improve patient well-being.
Rest assured, the level of care and attention you receive will remain consistent. Our locum professionals, along with the rest of our team, are committed to ensuring that your appointments are as smooth and comfortable as always.
Our reception team is working tirelessly to ensure that we keep your appointments as planned. Please note that if any change to your planned appointments is required, a member of our team will be in touch with you.
