We are passionate about learning about the latest advances in dentistry and healthcare. In fact both our dentists have studied extensively, in the UK and worldwide.
Huw Martin – Jones – with special interest in Orthodontics.
Huw qualified at the University of Wales Dental School in 1971. Having spent five years in the Royal Naval Dental Services he entered practice in Edinburgh in 1977.
Over the past twelve years Huw has studied extensively to gain knowledge and experience in bite related conditions and orthodontics which can have far reaching consequences such as problems with the feet. Through this knowledge he treats teeth crowding, postural problems, neck and lower back instability. He currently uses the Damon and Simpli5 systems amongst others to achieve his spectacular results. Huw is a keen golfer and enjoys skiing and travelling.
Neeraj Puri – with a special interest in Implants.
Neeraj Puri qualified in Glasgow in 1996. He moved to Edinburgh the same year; working with many notable dentists to develop his skills. He has continued to progress his knowledge in advanced reconstructive, cosmetic and surgical dentistry by studying extensively in Europe and America to ensure that he is looking at the latest developments before they become available in this country. He is the chosen cosmetic and reconstructive dentist to the award winning Face and Body clinic.
Neeraj has a special interest in bite–related problems that can manifest in headaches, neck and shoulder problems, migraines, sensitive teeth, loose teeth and clicky jaws. Addressing these problems increases the life expectancy of any dental work whether it is fillings or smile makeovers, implants or even just your natural dentition.
Neeraj has been awarded a Certificate in Implantology from the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute. He is now keen to add to this by progressing to the Diploma in Implantology. His expertise in working in one of the few clinics in Scotland that uses many different systems of implants, enables him to use the best products tailored to each individual patient’s needs. Most of these treatments are available under local anaesthetic or even intravenous sedation.
“My passion is working with my clients to create the smile they want. If the client is delighted with the end result I feel that I have done my job and can go home happy. I enjoy having the time to sit down and discuss and understand my client’s concerns, needs and aspirations and also how the result that we achieve will improve their quality of life. After all an attractive smile gives people more confidence as well as enjoyment in eating and communicating with others.
I love spending time with my family. In my spare time I enjoy yoga, travel and walking and I’ve just taken up golf (fun but sometimes frustrating!).”

This has given us the privilege of more than a couple of decades worth of experience in providing colour matched and tooth shaped restorations that are undistinguishable from natural teeth.
These interests have been developed further by Neeraj following the path of dental implants and Huw progressing his knowledge in orthodontics.
Come and meet our friendly team whose role is to make every patient’s visit a pleasant experience.
